Below are images from just 3 months at WoW (Spring 2023). We go on field trips every week, our parents, children, and facilitators lead offerings on all sorts of things, and the kids are constantly coming up with amazing ways to play and learn together.

These images include the Oakland Museum, a visit to Safe Organized Spaces, boating on the San Pablo Dam Reservoir, a film festival in SF with W. Kamau Bell, a camping trip, exploring Alvarado Park, barter days, an Earth Day Celebration, Social Justice Poster Making on Juneteenth, paper making, Richmond Library, Keller Beach, a capoeira and samba performance, Adventure Playground, a Train Tunnel walk, API (Asian Pacific Islander) books + read aloud, water colors, toy car sorting, readings connected with body/awareness positivity month, tie dying, lots of reading, Boxville, game playing (including a game design by one of our parents), planter box making, watching Alvin Ailey at Zellerbach Hall, and much more.
